Skin Softening Wash Bags
From Jasmine

Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons ground oatmeal (the old-fashioned kind)
3 Tablespoons ground raw sunflower seeds
1 scant Tablespoon Buttermilk powder
1 Tablespoon dried lavender flowers

Mix all ingredients. Feel free to substitute other ingredients that you like better -- ground almonds, powdered goat milk, chamomile herb instead of lavender, etc. Also you can add 3 parts ground soap to get bubbles or scent. Once ingredients are mixed, store them in an airtight, waterproof container until you're ready to use them. The recipe above is enough for one 3x5" muslin bag.

To use: fill bag with mixture, wet them thoroughly, and use them like a bar of soap or a scrubby. The bag exfoliates the skin while the ingredients clean and tone, and give the benefits of your chosen ingredients.

Fizzy Bath Bombs
From Peggy Dodd

Ingredients:
1 cup Baking soda (Bicarbonate of Soda)
1/2 cup Cornstarch
1/2 cup Citric Acid
1 Tablespoon Mineral oil (or your preferred substitute)
1 Teaspoon FO
Sprayer bottle of Witch Hazel

Mix the measured ingredients together. Spritz with witch hazel until moist enough to clump together if you pinch some in your hand, but not until fizzing. Pack tightly into molds, dixie cups, mold into balls in your hands, etc. Let dry overnight. When dry and hard, wrap tightly in cellophane or keep in an air/watertight container. To use, drop one or two in a bathtub of warm water.
